If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to live a peaceful, spiritual life in the virtual world of BitLife, becoming a monk might be your next challenge. This guide will walk you through how to become a monk in BitLife, including the key requirements, life choices, and strategies to help you follow a calm and disciplined path.
Understanding the Monk Career in BitLife
In BitLife, becoming a monk means choosing a life of spirituality, discipline, and simplicity. Unlike other careers that focus on money or fame, monks live for peace, balance, and inner reflection. You can only access this path once your character has the right moral alignment and education background.
1. Start with the Right Background
To make it easier to become a monk, begin your BitLife journey with a male or female character who has:
- Good health and high happiness
- High discipline (Willpower)
- Respectful behavior from early life choices
Avoid committing crimes or getting involved in negative activities, as this can affect your spiritual eligibility later on.
2. Focus on Education and Good Behavior
During your early years:
- Study hard in school.
- Maintain strong relationships with family.
- Keep your stress levels low through meditation or mindfulness (available later in the game).
When your character finishes high school, you don’t necessarily need a college degree to become a monk — but good education and clean records increase your chances.
3. Choose the Monk Career Path
Once you’ve maintained a peaceful and disciplined lifestyle, follow these steps:
- Open the Occupation tab.
- Tap on Special Careers.
- Look for the Monk option (sometimes under Religious or Spiritual paths).
- Apply and accept the position when available.
If the monk career doesn’t appear right away, age up a few years or restart the app — availability can vary depending on character stats and random events.
4. Live the Monk Lifestyle
After joining the monastery, your focus shifts from wealth to wisdom.
Here’s what you can do to maintain a peaceful and fulfilling monk life in BitLife:
- Avoid conflict or criminal activity.
- Choose calm, charitable, or spiritual actions when possible.
- Stay away from material temptations like gambling or luxury purchases.
- Practice meditation or spiritual reflection to maintain happiness.
The more consistent your moral and spiritual actions are, the more successful your monk journey will be.
5. Monk Earnings and Benefits
While monks in BitLife don’t earn huge salaries, they gain happiness and peace instead. It’s a great role for players who enjoy moral gameplay, want to complete achievements, or prefer a quiet and unique life path different from traditional careers.
